Instrument Management and Systems Office
Mission
The Instrument Management and Systems Office provides technical leadership for the full life cycle of instrument development, comprising instrument management for in-house GSFC instruments and instrument systems engineering for in-house and out-of-house GSFC instruments from proposal through development and launch. This includes development of innovative new measurement concepts and techniques, development of advanced instrument concepts, support of scientific instrument proposals, instrument system definition, analysis, and implementation.
